Gym & Tonic!

Let’s face it: if you had a new year’s resolution to be healthy and workout more you have probably already broken it. But who can blame you, its hard trying to curve cravings and go Nike and ‘just do it’. It doesn’t have to be like this. I have recently made the decision to become a vegetarian and take my workouts to the next level. I have never felt this great in my life, I have no regrets. I want people to feel like I do.

I’m not telling you to become a vegetarian or increase your workouts, we all have busy live and sometimes things can’t work the way we want them too, but I’ve come up with some ideas to help you stay motivated during your days by just adding a little pep to your step. –Remember just the slightest change can make a difference.

4 Ways to make a lifestyle Changes

  1. Don’t Do Cold Turkey!

One of the worst things you can do is drop everything and turn to something completely different. That’s how you result back to your old ways. Slow transitions will help you in the long run and you’ll find what works and what doesn’t for your body.

  1. Remember The 80/20 Rule

Keep in mind that you may workout but your results/body are revealed in the kitchen. Working out means nothing if you don’t eat healthy to back it up. Here’s a website with some great recipes! (They exclude meat) http://www.tedisarah.com/category/food/

  1. Drink Water!

I know you may hear people say this all the time, but its so true! Drinking enough water in your day can fill you up. Most times when we feel hungry, its because we’re dehydrated. When you get your daily water in, you end up eating less than you really need too.

  1. Surround Yourself with Inspiration

I’ am a total sucker for quotes and inspirational pictures. They really help me see that what I’m doing will benefit me for a lifetime. It’s also helpful to follow people who inspire you on social media and things you check everyday, they really put you in the mood to get things done!

There you have it! Some inspiration to get you back on the right track, and no worries we all have our bad days but its up to you to find the good in the bad and pick yourself up. You can do it!

The end results will have you feeling and looking better than ever. Don’t give up now!
